ALEXANDER, Raymond
St. Judes
August 31st, 1923 - December 18th, 2004
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Raymond Alexander
announce his passing at the W.M.R. Hospital on Saturday, December 18th,
2004, in Corner Brook in his 81st year. He is survived by one daughter,
Mary Ward of Fort McMurray, Alberta, his sister Margaret Young, his
brother Manuel Alexander, his step-sister Molly Rubia, step-brother
David Alexander, his special nieces Beryl Clarke of Ontario, Maxine,
Annie and Genevieve all of Deer Lake, and a very large circle of nieces,
nephews, and friends. Raymond was predeceased by his mother and father
Mary and Manuel Alexander, four sisters: Rose, Corsinie, Genevieve, and
Madeline, his five brothers: Adolph, Joseph, Charlie, Wilbert and
Patrick. The family will be receiving family and friends at Parsons
Funeral Home, 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake today, Monday, December
20th, 2004, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass of Christian
Burial will take place on Tuesday, December 21st, 2004, at 10:30 a.m.,
with Father Adian Devine officiating, with the interment to follow at
the family plot of Church Cemetery, Wights Road, Deer Lake. The funeral
arrangements are entrusted to Parsons Funeral Home, 63 North Main
Street, Deer Lake.

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Audrey McGinn
announce her passing on Sunday, December 19, 2004 at Western Memorial
Regional Hospital, Corner Brook at the age of 84 years. Leaving to mourn
with fond and loving memories: her daughters: Joy (Gord) Hussey, Hughes
Brook, and Joan (Bob) Graf, Dunedin, Florida; one son: Bob (Ruby)
McGinn, Corner Brook; seven grandchildren: Rodney (Vicki), Bob Jr.
(Harriett), Donald (Denica), Natalie, Debra (Don), Dawn and James, eight
great-grandchildren; brother James Lidstone (Vera), Hughes Brook; two
sisters: Valda Wiseman (Doug), Dartmouth, NS, and June Smith (Gerry),
Stephenville; sisters-in-law: Mary, Irene and Laura Lidstone, as well as
a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was
predeceased by her husband Raymond and son Donald, 1955, son Jack, 1996,
infant daughter Eleanor, brothers: Calvin, Clarence and Gilbert
Lidstone, parents Joseph and Alice Lidstone. Friends may visit
Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 Marks Avenue on Monday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The
funeral service will take place on Tuesday, December 21st, at 2:00 p.m.
from Humber United Church, Clarence Street. Rev. Patricia Melindy
officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As
expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or donations may be
made to the 5th and 6th Fund Raising Committee at Western Memorial
Regional Hospital. The family guest book may be signed or a memorial

LEGGO, Murray S.
Corner Brook, NL
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Murray Leggo
announce his passing at the J.I. O'Connell Centre on Friday, December
17, 2004 at the age of 84. He leaves to mourn his brother Harvey,
sisters: Hazel Linn, Elizabeth Burns and Jessie Harkness, all of
Ontario. His godchild Margaret Brake (Don Haugland) of Pasadena and also
a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He is
predeceased by his parents: William and Mary, brothers: Clyde, Walter,
Henry, and sister Patricia. Funeral services will take place Monday,
December 20, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Mary's Anglican Church with Rev.
John Hounsell Drover officiating. Interment at Mount Patricia Cemetery.
Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to a charity of
one's choice. The family guestbook may be signed or memorial donations
