It is with great sadness that the family of the late Arthur Cecil Earle
announce his passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville on
Saturday, April 2nd, 2005 at the age of 77. He leaves to mourn with fond
and loving memories wife Romona; children: Janice Perry, Kippens, Gordon
(Eilleen), Witless Bay, Darlene Wright, Wanda Earle, Raymond, Paul
(Cindy), Bernadette (Richard) Cichocki, all of Ontario, Jackie (Garland)
King, Mattis Point, Elaine (Keith King), Stephenville Crossing, Dwayne,
BC; 17 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brother Sam, Twillingate;
sister Josephine (Sam) Renolds, ON. He is predeceased by daughter
Veronica Rose; parents Eli and Delsie; brothers: Martin, Harvey, Gordon
and by sister Louise. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place from
the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, St. George's on Thursday, April
7th at 2:00 p.m. with Father Gerard Patry officiating. Interment will
follow at the church cemetery, Shallop Cove. As expressions of sympathy
flowers are graciously accepted. Funeral arrangements have been
entrusted to Fillatre's Funeral Home, West Street, Stephenville

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Sidney Miller
announces his passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on
Monday, April 4, 2005 at the age of 64 years. He leaves to mourn with
fond and loving memories his wife of 44 years, Emma; son Roger (Lisa) of
Corner Brook; daughters: Christine Ryan of Port Rexton, Sheila (Shawn)
Perry of Ft. McMurray and Irene (Andy) Lapointe of Prince George;
sisters: Gertrude Hart of Springvale, Maine, Ethel Bailey of Port
Rexton, Louise (George) Miller of New Bonaventure and Mary (Harold)
Hancock of Forteau; grandchildren: Angela Ryan, Laura and Andrew Miller
and Lucas Perry; brothers and sisters-in-law: Wallace and Margaret
Lewis, Phyllis Fromanger, Don and Sharon Lewis, Wayne and Linda Lewis
and Melvin and Graham Lewis; mother-in-law Susie Knee; aunt Jane Lewis;
and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his mother
and father, Frank and Leitia Miller; brothers: Frank, John, Jim, Joe and
Bill; father-in-law Herbert Lewis and brother-in-law Harvey Lewis.
Visitation will be held at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road
on Wednesday, April 6, 2005 from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday, April 7, 2005
from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Friday, April 8,
2005 at 2:00 p.m. at the Salvation Army Citadel, Clarence Street with
Captain Scott Rideout officiating. No flowers by request. Donations may
be made to the Corner Brook Salvation Army Citadel Men's Fellowship. The

CARTER, Roland S.

December 8th, 1916 - April 3rd, 2005
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Roland Carter
announce his passing on Sunday, April 3rd, 2005 at the Western Memorial
Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 88 years. He leaves to
mourn with fond and loving memories his two sons: Gordon (Maureen),
Steady Brook and Gregory, Corner Brook; grandchildren: Troy (Tina), Fort
St. John, BC and Shane (Shonna), Corner Brook; great grandchildren:
Heather, Shane and Brandon; step granddaughter Kathryn Mitchell,
Alberta, one brother Pearce (Inez), Corner Brook; as well as a large
circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was
predeceased by his wife Doris, 1988, sisters: Josephine, Evelyn and
Violet, brothers: Reg, Stewart and Fred. Friends may visit Fillatre's
Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark's Avenue, Corner Brook today, Tuesday from the
hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday,
April 6th, at 2:00 p.m. from The Cathedral of St. John The Evangelist,
Main Street with The Very Rev. Lorne Gosse officiating. Interment to
follow at Mount Patricia Receiving Chapel. As expressions of sympathy,
