DEATH


PAYNE, William Norman
Cow Head
June 25, 1912 - March 23rd, 2006
It is with great sadness that the family of the late William Norman
Payne announce his passing on Thursday, March 23rd, 2006 at the Bonne
Bay Hospital in his 93rd year. He will be sadly missed by one brother
Basil (Maxine) of Cow Head, three sisters: Mammie Warford of Clarke's
Beach, Joan (Forward) Hewlin, Margaret (Max) House of Cow Head, his
special niece Delia (Scott) Payne of Fort McMurray, also a large circle
of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his
wife Alice, parents: Albert & Lavina, brothers: Benjamin, Leslie, Lorne,
Aubrey, Freeman, his sisters: Goldie, Freda, Caroline and Charlotte.
Visitation will take place from the Anglican Church in Cow Head today
Saturday and Sunday where also the funeral service will take place on
Monday at 2:00 PM with Rev. Pratt officiating. Interment to follow at
the family plot. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Parsons Funeral
Home, 63 Northmain Street, Deer Lake.

MURRIN
Congratulations are extended to Danny, son of Stephen & Linda Murrin of
Cox's Cove and Ealaina, daughter of the late Gaye Murrin and Fenton
Patey of Cox's Cove. The were engaged on December 10, 2005 while
residing in P.E.I. Best wishes are extended from their families and
friends. A wedding is planned for August 2007.


MACDONALD / BARRY
Congratulations and best wishes to Karen MacDonald and Jason Barry on
their engagement October 24, 2005. Karen is the daughter of Ruby & the
late Gerald MacDonald and Jason is the son of John and Barbara Barry.
Wedding to take place June 17, 2006.


CURTIS / FIFIELD
Mike and Rhoda Curtis of Deer Lake would like to announce the engagement
of their daughter Melissa to Aaron Fifield, son of Bruce & Yvonne
Fifield of Deer Lake. The wedding will take place in the summer of 2007.

We welcome with love the arrival of our son Adam Jeffrey, born February
22, 2006, weighing 8 lb. 5 oz. Proud parents Jeff and Jennifer Lamswood,
grandparents Gary & Ann Marie Seaward, Foster & Connie Lamswood and
great-grandmother Annie Griffin.


LEWIS
Vernon and Sandra are pleased to announce the arrival of their baby
boy. James Clayton was born 5 weeks early on January 27th, 2006 at 7:37
pm weighing 5 lb. 14.5 oz at Western Memorial Regional Hospital. Proud
grandparents are Warren and Rhoda Blanchard of McIvers and Melba Lewis
of Meadows. Special thank you to Dr. Hema, Dr. Hamann, Dr. Vangelder and
the wonderful nursing staff who helped with his safe arrival.


JECKS
Roxanne Randell & Robert Jecks are proud to announce the birth of their
son Parker Robert, born January 6th, 2006 7 lb. 15 oz. Parker is the
grandson of Kenneth & Elsie Randell of Hampden & James Donavan Jecks of
Vancouver, B.C.
