I am new to your list and would like some information on Joseph, son of
Joseph Merry and his wife Mary.

Who did Joseph Jr. marry and where did he settle? Did he have a son named
William MOREY who married Alice Williams
10-10-1719 in Amesbury Ma.?

I am stuck on my Morey line. I found a loose leaf notebook in the State
Library at Concord N.H. entitled ADDITIONS AND CORRECTIONS of the History
of Andover N.H. by Marcia Frances Hilton. The work is not dated.
She suggests that Joseph Merry Jr. married and had a son named William
Morey and perhaps others.

I can find nothing written on this Joseph but lots written about his father
who lived until age 103 in Tisbury Ma. Did the surname get changed to Morey
and that is why writers have over looked him?

My William Morey is the ancestor of the Moreys in Andover and Wilmot N.H.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
