Cousins and Colleagues...

To provide some perspective on Gene Hubbard's thoughtful comments on my
website let me summarize what I did report:

The birth and death dates and locations for Philip Hubbard
The birth date and location for his wife Elizabeth Roberts
An approximate date and location for their marriage.

This information was obtained from John R. Ham, "Dover New Hampshire
Marriages 1623-1823" and from Dover Historical Society, "Vital Records
of Dover, New Hampshire 1686-1850" and also Elizabeth's birth date and
location from Thomas A. Jacobsen, "The Robertses of Northern New
England"

If the information concerning Philips birth, death and marriage places
and locations is incorrect, I would, of course, greatly appreciate
receiving the information accordingly. I'm satisfied about Elizabeth's
birth date and location.

I take this occasion to correct what may be misimpressions based on
Gene's list message:

1. I had nothing on my website concerning Elizbeth's death date or
location (I have no information on it).

2. I had absolutely nothing on my website concerning the children of
Philip and Elizabeth (I have no information about them, nor have I
sought it).

3. The reported marriage date (abt 1718) for Philip and Elizabeth
comports sensibly with their reported birth dates (1693 and 1697,
respectively). As I indicated above, if my sources are incorrect, or my
conclusions based on those sources are incorrect, I welcome corrections
with sources.
