Have you explored the possibility that Shadrack b. 1770 is the son of Thomas b. 1727 in Hampton, son of SHADRACH b. 1699 in Hampton. This line goes back to England.

I am descended from Shadrack and Fanny's son Andrew Ward b. 1801 in Vershire, Orange Co., Vermont and have also traced the family to New York. Andrew then moved to Michigan.
