Hello,
I'm just getting caught up on my e-mails and noticed this one. Did you
know, Kevin, that there were Cliffords in Hampton, NH from about 1648 on?

I am hoping someone might have a bit of information about the Clifford family
living in Epping 1790-1800. I see a Samuel Clifford there whose family is a
very close match with the Samuel Clifford in Loudon in 1810 I believe is the
father of the Sally Clifford who married Timothy Tilton.
Other Cliffords in Epping are Benjamin and Stephen, who appear to be brothers,
and Dudley, who might be a son of Benjamin.
I am also curious about a Samuel who enlisted for 6 months in 1780 from
Brentwood for South Hampton. This would put him dangerously close to East
Kingsington, where Mary Eastman lived. Samuel Clifford married Mary Eastman in
1786.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Take care,
Kevin
