Trying locate any information on George Addison and his wife Sarah (Gott) Addison. They immigrated to the US and settled in Londonderry in 1751. They moved on to Goffstown around 1760?.

How can I find out what port of entry possibly and where they came from. Passenger records said she was Irish and he was from Scotland. I'm not that sure. The name Gott doesn't sound too Irish.

Someone from Exeter, NH wrote a letter to vital records to clarify some births and deaths of some members of the family. They were all buried in Goffstown. I understand records were kept at town hall and there was a fire years back. Spoke with one of the cemetery caretakers tonight and he will go to cemetery next week to see if there was any engraving on back of the stones. I did some research at Family History Center and found that there were burial permission slips signed by the one taking care of the bodies.

Would like to know exact births, perhaps death records may show this. This is my stumbling block. Any assistance will be of great help. He was born in 1728 and she 1732. I have exact dates of death. Also trying to find out when and where they were married. I belong to Godfrey and nothing shows up.

Thank you.

Rita
