Hello --

I am hoping some kind researcher out there will be kind enough to answer
my (confused) questions?

I am searching for my SOMES and SPILLER family (mid to late 1700's). I
find the names (as per family records and VR) in, variously, Grafton and
Strafford Co.s and in (no Co. mentioned) Meredith, New Boston, and
Chester, NH...

Is this list for the current Strafford Co. or the historic Co.?

Do I understand correctly that Meredith was in Strafford Co. then but
now is in Grafton Co.? (or am I all mixed up on this?)

And where might I find a listing of the above (historic) town locations
so that I might know more exactly where it is I should be looking?
