My husband's CARR family is associated with Haverhill, NH is some way.
His 4th great grandfather was Francis Carr, born in Mass., 1806, married in
Lowell, Middlesex Co., Mass, Phila Delpha HEATH of Corinth, Orange Co., VT.
Their children were born in NH, one for sure at Haverhill in 1837.
This boy's name was Hubbard Carr. One Hubbard Carr was on the Haverhill, NH
census one time, but no more. This would not be our Hubbard Carr who was
still a child when his family moved to NY.
The links are obvious, but we they stand alone without a connection.
We have checked the CARR book and the only possibility is a Francis Carr "who
went out west." Perhaps out west was New York for NH at that time, but I
don't think so.
Anyone know of Francis Carr? He is not the son of Capt. Francis Carr.
