Hi, I hope I don't ruffle any feathers but I have seen so many queries
on Tuttles that I thought I'd send one in myself on some Tuttle's I'm
looking for info on, and see if anyone could help, even though I'm not
sure if they came from Strafford county. Here goes .......
Jedediah Kilbourne & Martha (Lane) JUDKINS adopted twin girls by the
name of Deborah A. & Sarah A. TUTTLE, born 3 or 8 Feb. 1844, their
middle names may have been Adelia & Amelia, but which one to which girl,
I don't know. I've never been able to find Jedediah in a 1840 census
but they may have been living in Lexington, Somerset Co., ME or
Kingfield, Franklin Co., ME at the time they took in these two girls.
In 1850 census he is in Katahadin Iron Works, Piscataquis, ME, and the
twins are with the family. Would like to find the parents of these
