I too am searching for elusive Horne's. I have a James Horne Roberts (and
can't help but think that the Horne is a family name.


Parents of James Horne Roberts:

Ebenezer Roberts (parents unknown) and Sally (aka Sarah) Roberts (Daughter
of James Roberts and Martha Woodsum) I have followed his mothers line back
to the imigrants and no Hornes, but I know nothing of his fathers line. I
am thinking that Ebenezers mothers maiden name might be Horne.
Certainly we are both searching to reach the imigrant ancestor of William
Horne...just how to get there is the question.
