John Hill born 1722.
Ebenezer Hill born 30 Jan. 1758, Wakefield, NH, Carroll County.
James W. Hill, East Wakefield, born circa 1820. Boston Post Gold Cane Award, oldest man in Wakefield, NH on Aug. 11, 1909. Died June 7, 1910 at age of 90 years, 3 months, 1 day. Son of James Hill (Wakefield) and Charlotte Dow (Lee).
William John Hill (Ebenezer Hill's father) sold land to Jacob Burley (need copy of this Burley's deed 1700's). Ebenezer Hill lived on land later date. April 5, 1785 Hill to Hill. Sold to John Hill Jr. of Wakefield, NH for 120 pounds. (How much is this?). This Wakefield land was more/less part of Lot No. 8 in the 2nd division of Wakefield all except 40 acres which was sold by William John Hill to Jacob Burley . Book #6, page 226 recorded deed 100 acres in Wakefield, by the land of Mr. Nathan Mordough from Greenland, NH and extending to No. 12 owned by Capt. David Copp by John Hill on Jan. 10, 1791.
Would like to have more information and trying to locate a map of this land. Also would like to know where this land is to be found today. Any suggestions, clues, facts, or what is found is most appreciated.
Thanks to all who take time to read.
Donna/Gene on Hill ancestry onward search.
