Laura Almira CANNEY was my 2ggreatgrandmother. She is usually referred
to as Almira. Her parents were John and Abigail (HANSON) CANNEY. Her
first husband was Jacob OSBORNE. They were both Quakers. She married
out afterwards to William JOHNSON, whom she married in Dover on Nov, 2,
1857. I am related through Jacob OSBORNE, but would like information on
her second marriage to JOHNSON. She and JOHNSON had a daughter, Isabel
JOHNSON who was born around 1859. Isabel married a Charles H. BEAL in
Minneapolis, MN, and later moved to Los Angeles. Would especially
appreciate any assistance on who William JOHNSON was and did he die or
did they divorce. Also interested in hearing from anyone researching
Canney's.

Several of the Canney family moved to Minneapolis MN in the mid 1850s.
