Here are the names and some additional information on Thomas and Susanna
Nicholson's family, first and second generations. I have more generations if
anyone connects with any of these Nicholsons. Additionally, the part of
Gilmer County that Thomas Nicholson lived in became Pickens County GA in
1853. He shows up there in the 1860 Pickens County census were he is said to
be from Louisiana (?) and that his wife's name was Louisiana. The children's
names are the same with a couple of additions. I suspect that there was an
error made in his place of birth and his wife's name.

1880 in Gilmer County GA. He married (1) SUSANNA ?. He married (2) HARRIETT
BRAMLETT February 16, 1873 in Gilmer County GA.

to take oath of allegiance to U. S. Govt., claiming to have been loyal to the

deserted to avail himself of the amnesty proclamation. Released May 18, 1865.
