Hi, recently discovered my gg-grandmother, Adelheid/Adalaide/Anna's maiden name is Koester/Koster and she is from Martfeld, Germany in the region of Hanover/Hannover.
She was born 8/6/1826, married Dietrich/Diedrick Meyer and they immigrated to US 11/2/1868 finally settling in Will County, IL.
Also found a nephew Henry "Custer" (Koester) born about 1864 living with them in 1880 census.
If you have any information at all it would be so appreciated!

Hallo, vor kurzem entdeckt meine Gg-Gromutter, Adelheid/Adalaide/Anna Mdchenname Koester/Koster und sie ist aus Martfeld, Deutschland in der Region Hannover/Hannover. Geboren 06.08.1826, verheiratete Dietrich/Diedrick Meyer und sie wanderte nach uns 02.11.1868 endgltig in Will County, Illinois. Auch ein Neffe von Henry "Custer' (Koester) geboren ca. 1864 Leben 1880 Einwohner. Wenn Sie irgendwelche Informationen haben, wre es also dankbar!
