Myrtle C. Smith

RUSTON - Services for Myrtle Carver Smith will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in
the chapel of Kilpatrick. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Smith of Ruston died Thursday, June 18, 1998, in Alpine Guest Care
Center.

She was a native of Simpson and a graduate of Louisiana Tech University.
She was director of Emergency Relief Administration in Vernon Parish in
1932.

Survivors include three daughters, Anita Womack of Anderson, Ind.,
Marie Riggs of Ruston and Lorna Kardatzke of Wichita, Kan.; one son,
Alvin Smith of Baton Rouge; one sister, Eula Jones of Pineville; 12
grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. today in the funeral home.
