My Great Grandfather William Adams was born in Lurgan 6OCT1837 TO William
Adams Excise Officer and his wife Maria nee Reed they were both from Devon
and baptised their son in Ipplepen Parish Church Devon SEPT1838. The
Exciseman joined Dec 1835 and as a single man posted to Kilkenny
FEB1836,then to 1st Ride Armagh Collection 21Feb1837 and 11OCT1837 posted to
Scotland. Any information regarding this couple regarding marriage , birth
and where they lived would be gratefully received
