Hi Listers

This is my first posting and I am looking for any connections to the following:

HUGH MCLOUGHLIN- in the the period 1848 - 1864 - on the farm Tirnascobe in the parish of Kildarton Armagh County

His son ROBERT MOORE MCLOUGHLIN is on the farm in 1881 when he marries MARY ANN ARMSTRONG in the 1st Presbyterinan Church in Armagh City. Witnesses are R.V.DEACON and M.F.ARMSTRONG

Her father is JAMES ARMSTRONG living on the farm Drummondanede in the Parish of Grange.

ROBERT & MARY have nine children and between 1895 and 1900 emigrate to Kimberley South Africa where he has a nephew living.

Family sources believe that they were also related - possibly his mothers family - to the families DEACON and MOORE

The farm was sold and in 1940 was owned by an ARMSTRONG.

Any connections, help or suggestions would be gratefully received.
