Alison, I notice that GILMORE is on your list of names. Does this also
include GILLMER & other variants? I have a few which came from my Great Aunt
Blin BROWN's work, then added to by Wendy JACK. They intermarried with
JACKSONs & BIRCHs & MCCULLOUGHs. The earliest one is Alexander GILLMER who
married Elizabeth BIRCH (her second marriage) on March 14, 1760.
By the sounds of it, you are light years ahead of me on all this so this may
be no news to you at all.
