Hi Susan
I hope you have not "pulled the plug" on your very kind offer? Irish research can be so difficult.
Could you please look for a Patrick Ferguson and his Wife Ann Neary both born about 1840-1845 They left Ireland (Newry) about 1862 went to Whitehaven Cumbria and stayed there for the rest of their lives.
