Norm,
Thanks for listing the search below. I checked it out and found a wonderful
page by the Fianna Webmaster Team with a list, by record type and year for
Data about County Armagh. It can be found at :
http://www.rootsweb.com/~fianna/county/armagh/arm-1.html
it lists microfilm numbers for records at FHLC and PRONI... useful resource,
thanks!
Susan

Edward;
I just did a little search using the yahoo search engine
http://www.yahoo.com
http://google.yahoo.com/bin/query?p=book+of+armagh&hc=1&hs=1
It turned up 16,800 hits on the "Book of Armagh".
Not all hits deal with the Book of Armagh, but you will find some
interesting reads there if you look at the various hits that do cover
the book.
Some tell you where you can find the book to view and use. Others may
tell you where one might be purchased. I didn't look through very many
so don't know what all you can find in the list. It is worth a look
see, if for nothing else than to read some of the write ups about the
book. In reading through several of the accounts about the book, there
appears to be the chance that more than one book was written with this
same title.
http://www.amazon.com is always one place to look. http://www.ebay.com
often has many Irish books that others are selling. The list varies in
quantity and content from day to day. Amazon has both used and new and
is in UK and USA. From the looks of the book, it may be expensive, so
looking for a library that offers exchange privledges (loan) with other
libraries may be your best bet. The last thought is to try your Local
LDS Family Center as they may have microfiche, or roll film or even a
copy of the book that can be transferred from SLC to the local center.
I hope this gives you some decent alternatives and a head start in
finding the book.
