I think your Hollingsworth is related to my family lineage, by marriage.

I have Valentine Hollingsworth [born August 1632 Seagoe Parish, County
Armagh, Ireland], married Anne(e) Calvert April 12, 1672 at Friends Meeting
House, Armagh, Ireland. She is my 8th Great Grand Aunt.

I also have her sister, Margaret Calvert, who married Thomas Hollingsworth
[born May 1, 1661 Seagoe Parish,
County Armagh, Ireland] about 1684-1685. Again, my 8th Great Grand Aunt.

Their brother, John Calvert, was my 8th G-Grandfather.

Happy trails,
LuAna Drake Craig

> Vallentine, son of Henry and Catherine Cornish Hollingsworth was born in
Ballymcrannel (meaning McRandal's Hill) in Segoe parish, County Armah
Ireland. Henry married Catherine in London. She was the daughter of Henry
Cornish who was Mayor of London. He got crosswise with the Crown and was
executed. Henry Hollingsworth went to Ireland as a "Planter" on the
O'Neilland Plantation where he is listed on the muster roll as being able
to use a sword, a spear and a calaver. I can furnish documentation but I do
not have it at hand tonight.
