Hi Janet........I know so little about my Clark Stevenson aside from what
was in the posting (he was a farmer) that anything is possible. Alexander
and Jane are certainly family names on my Stevenson side. Your Clark
Stevensons father could have been the brother of my Clark Stevenson and
named his son after him or a scenario that's similar. Will have a look
through my Stevenson file to see what I can figure out......Good

My great-grandfather was also called Clark Stevenson. He was born somewhere
in Ireland (Armagh has been suggested) about 1850. In 1870 he married Jane
Cardoo in Rutherglen, Scotland.
