Does anyone know the story of James Thompson's wife on honeymoon, having her
"Kilmantree Petticoat" cut by an English soldier's saber, circa 1800. Or
does anyone know the story of Bridget Thompson, widow of Thomas Morgan being
offered a Tea House in Newry in lieu of her Thompson land for the rental of a
penny for a hundred years. Bridget refused and went to US to work as servant.
Strong possibility of connection with John Mitchell.
