Hello Betty:
You might check out the LDS site and the 1881 Canadian census if you haven't
already done so. There is a John McMANEMY born in 1823 in Ireland and
married to Mary and 10 children listed in Wentworth North. There are 25
McMANEMY listings with a few others born in Ireland as well.

Subject: [ARMAGH] McManemy query
Hello everyone; It has been awhile since I listed who I am searching for so
thought I would try it again! My GG Grandfather's name was John McManemy,
born in Ireland circa 1816-1819 to a Protestant, farming family. His father
was born in Scotland but I haven't found out his name yet. He migrated to
Canada circa 1847 and married in Ontario, Canada. Any help would be
appriciated. Sincerely, Betty from Arizona USA
