A Question: Would the Diocese of Connor in Ulster necessarily mean that a
family surname of Connor would originate there?

I am researching HUGH CONNOR who lived, according to his US Naturalization
papers in Derry in 1830 when he left for America. He sailed with his wife,
Ann Logan Connor and six children from Belfast on May 10, 1830 and arrived in
Quebec on July 2, 1830. ANY information would be extremely helpful. I've hit
the proverbial brick wall in getting back to Ireland.
