As a local historian I have come across Quireys in Coleraine In the early
part of this century a mr Quirey had a factory on Circular Road where I
tink they made boiled sweets and soft drinks. His daughter taught in a
small rural school about 6/7 miles south of the town . ie Cullyvenny national
School. She then married a Mr. McDermott, of Culcrow, Aghadowey. At present
there is a Dr. Quirey practicing at The lodge Road health centre, in Coleraine.
