I recently learned my g-g-g-grandmother Bridget Connolly , was born in
County Derry. This was Aug. 18 , 1829. Her father was Luke Connolly. They
emigrated to the US and ended up in Paterson , New Jersey. The place of her
birth appears to be Teagau . This comes from her husband's Civil War
Pension. She couldn't write , and this is how it was written down, and the
hand writing is hard to read. If anyone may know what the name may be, or
have any information about this family , i would be most appreciative.
