Balteagh is the name of a parish in County Londonderry. See Public Record Office of Northern Ireland site:

You will find a list here of 24 townlands here. There is no townland named Altagh in the parish. (or similar). In fact there is no townland or parish in Northern Ireland with the exact spelling Altagh.
