On a trip to Ireland I found the following gravestone in Dundalk, Co Louth,
at the St Nicholas Church of Ireland graveyard:

“John Blair - late officer of the Irish revenue
a native of N.T. Limavady
and for 20 years
an inhabitant of Dundalk
where he died Aug 3rd 1852
aged 71 years

Sarah, widow of the above John Blair
who died in Dundalk
17th Feb 1866
aged 78 years”

I suspect, but don't know for sure, that John Blair was a relative of my
ancestor, William Henry Percival, who lived in Dundalk in the early 1800's.
If anyone has a Blair family in the Newtown Limavady area of Co Londonderry,
please let me know.
