Hi Listers!

I am a new subscriber to this list and I am endeavouring to find out information on the Cust family.
My great great grandmother was a Judith (or Julia as she was known here) Cust. She was born in 1799, I am not sure if she was born in Derry, but the reason I am searching this area is that during that time, there were families of that name living both in County Derry and County Antrim.
She was a catholic.
I have no idea of who her parents were but she would have married around 1832 give or take a year to my Great Great Grandfather William (could also have been Maurice) Walsh. Herein lies the twist. All children (four sons) appear to have been born in County Galway where they lived prior to their migration to Australia in 1855.
A check of names show the Cust family were there in the above counties around that time.
I have been in contact with Cust family members in my locality but they have no record or information.
If there is any one who can furnish me with any information I would greatly appreciate the assistance.
