Hi All,
Thought i would post my brick wall with the hope someone might know
something on this family and help with missing details such as Daniel's
Death or info on there son and grandson William James Galbraith.

My great great grandmother Jane Galbraith (Nee Macauley also been spelt
McColley) married Daniel Galbraith 15 May 1857,on the marriage record her
father is listed as William McColley Labourer and she is from Ardlough
Parish of Glendermott. I have found Jane's death which has her dying
21/01/1893 as a widow in a place called Killy Capple. But not found any
reference to Daniel's death.

Daniel & Jane had the following children

1. John Galbraith 27 February 1863 who married Jane Kelly June 1898
Ebrington Presbyterian Church Ireland and he died 24 December 1930 At a
place known as the Watery Brae, he was struck by a motor car driven by Mr.
M. Deehan, Dungiven Road, and appears to have been killed instantly.His son
Daniel Galbraith from Tirbracken Cross County Derry gave evidence of
identification.

2. Daniel Galbraith 03 December 1865 who married Matilda Donaghy 09 July
1887 All Saints Clooney Parish Londonderry and Daniel died 01 January 1948.
They had 10 children. I know all about there children except a son William
James Galbraith 02 July 1881 i have found nothing more on him.

3. Margaret Galbraith abt 1866 who married William Gibson 04 February
1886 Londonderry Ireland Margaret died 01 July 1919. They had 10 children.

4. William James Galbraith 22 November 1868 but no further info found
regarding him.
