It says on my fathers' birth certificate that he was born THE STRAITS Banbridge 1902. Could that have been the name of the house or dwelling or nursing home where my grandmother gave birth to him. Is anyone familiar with this name and just what it was? I'm guessing it had something to do with the River Bann. Thanx in Advance.
