I am seeking information re;
William DAVIS b abt 1892. (died Balmain, Sydney, 1846 aged 54)
Isabelle Millsop (first wife) died abt 1820.
Sarah ? (second wife) married abt 1821.

I know he and Sarah with children William and George were living in
Warrenpoint in 1822 when he wrote a letter to his 6 year old daughter Sarah
who was living with her grandparents. (In the letter he tells her to be good
and 'submissive to her grandmamma and grandpa')
It was addressed to:
Sarah DAVIS at Mr MILSOP'S, Breagh, near Portadown.

He also lived in the Newry area and left Ireland in 1832 to come to
Australia.
Are there any records available for this period (they were Church of
England/Ireland)
I'd also appreciate anything about the towns of Newry/Warrenpoint/Portadown.
Perhaps 'Parish of the week?'
Does the name DAVIS/MILSOP ring any bells anywhere there????
We've never been able to find Sarah's last name - could she have been a
sister to Isabelle??????
There is also a suggestion/rumour that Isabelle and Sarah were Quakers. Were
there many Quakers in that area at that time??????????
I and many others in Oz would be eternally grateful for any suggestions or
light on the family.
