YES I think Ive found a relation.
I was surfing and went to google to look up chat and Ireland and located a
good site with links for Ireland, including Down. Ireland and Northern
Ireland Genealogy chat I am sure I located a living relation, if only he'd
asnwer his phone... Will keep you informed

Question. Today I examined a 1852 poll tax register for Down and located my
ancestor. (Well I deserve to be lucky after 20 or so years) The question
was every male able to vote in the 1850's. I note that it was noted
whether the man was catholic or presbyterian, but was voting only allowed
for those who owned or leased land?
