Betsy - I obtained from Vincent ALEXANDER in England information that you provided to him about the ALEXANDERS OF DRUMQUIN, DROMORE & DRUMARDNAGROSS, which I found extremely interesting.

My great grandfather, Robert ALEXANDER was born at Segully in County Tyrone C1834. His parents were John ALEXANDER (occupation farmer) and Rebecca TURNER.

In your note there is a reference to Joseph ALEXANDER of Drumquin who had three sons in his second marriage, and the eldest John had seven sons including one named Robert. While I realise a number of forenames are used repeatedly by the ALEXANDER family, I am intrigued by the possibility that my great grandfather may be one of the seven sons of John ALEXANDER.

I am new to family history research, and any guidance that you can provide that may help me in search for my ALEXANDER ancestors would be gratefully appreciated.
