Here is another McKAY family - pt.1 (first two generations),
additions/corrections appreciated, thanks, Jim:
1. Aimable MACAY. Could this be the same as Jean?
He married Elisabeth LAVALLEE.
Children:
i Amable McKAY.
He married Mary MARTIN, 23 Oct 1854 in
Sault Ste. Marie, Chippewa Co., MI,[1] (daughter of Simon MARTIN and Mary
Lissette LAVALLEE).
2. ii John Baptiste.
Second Generation
2. John Baptiste McKAY/MCKIE/McCOY.
He married Marie L. LESAGE, 11 Sept 1848 in Sault Ste. Marie,
Chippewa Co., MI,[2] born 8 Oct 1831 in Sault Ste. Marie, Ont., CAN,[3]
(daughter of Jean-Baptiste LESAGE and Madeleine LEGARDE) died 6 Aug 1906 in
Payment, Sugar Is., MI, (see note 1).

i Jeanne MACAY, born 16 Sept 1849,[4]
baptized 26 Sept 1849 in Sault Ste. Marie, Chippewa Co., MI.[5]
ii Louis MACAY, born 13 May 1852,[6]
baptized 2 Jun 1852 in St. Mary's Pro Cathedral, SSM., MI.[7]
