Good afternoon:

I live in the next town across the Raritan River, and frequently do research
at Rutgers. Just a few little hints for you . . .

My only suggestion regarding Rutgers, is to get there about 8:50 a.m. The
Special Collections at the Alexander Library opens at 9:00 a.m. At the same
time many of the students with automobiles must drive to locations away from
their living quarters. So, parking space is far more reasonable than later in
the morning, or afternoon.

Parking is metered; quarters, dimes, nickels. The actual rules are that
after two hours you MUST move your car; it is not permissible to "feed the
kitty". However, if you want to take the chance, that is your decision.

The Collection is downstairs (central staircase), and there's plenty of
help, if you have questions. You can also go online for Rutgers Alexander
Library and search their catalogue to get yourself ahead of the game.

Good luck.

Bea
