Thanks so much to everyone who answered my questions relating to our
September research trip to New Jersey. I know that all of your
information and suggestions will be very helpful!
If this is not off-topic, could I ask one more question? After we are
finished with our research (or cross-eyed from looking at microfilm) we
plan to visit both Ellis Island (from the New Jersey side) and the
Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn. We are somewhat intimidated by the
thought of driving in New York City area traffic and we are wondering if
there is some form of public transportation we could take to either or
both of those sites. We'll probably be staying in Monmouth Junction,
New Jersey, but we could drive closer in to take a bus, train or
whatever. If public transportation is not possible, any driving tips you
might have would be great as well.
Ideas? Thanks so much again!
