Thanks for considering all this and for your input. I'm glad to see that so
many members (and non-members) of the NYG&B are alert to this issue and
willing to explain their views - both pro- and con. I will be most curious
to hear the outcome of Thursday's vote and wish that I could be there in
person. But - noon? on a Thursday? - is not a good time to really
encourage member turn-out.

As a result of your bringing the full nature of these issues to our
attention, I've changed my vote.

Anyone can download a proxy form from the NYG&B website; I faxed mine to
Sarah Fair at 212-754-4218. I was told by the membership office to note on
the
proxy that this is a revised proxy and should *replace* the one I had sent
previously.

Thanks for taking the time to illuminate a very ugly situation.
