Dear friends of New Jersey genealogy;
Last year, I received a copy of my grandfather's birth certificate from New Jersey. We are having trouble figuring out his mother's name. We know her first name is Blanche but the second name is anybody's guess. I'm wondering if anyone on this list can help?
My grandfather's name is Henry George.
His father is Wendell George.
Henry was born 17 January 1898.
The parents are from somewhere in Pennsylvania.
Is anyone familiar with the handwriting of that time?
Here's the link to the birth certificate:

You might need to save it to a photo program so you can enlarge it.
We've done all sorts of tricks to figure it out and we've come up with a whole list of possibilities!
Any ideas? Thanks so much for trying.
Alexa
