Patricia

Sorry to be SLOW responding! I think yours was the last request we got for
a lookup in the Guide to the Manuscript Collection of the Rutgers University
Library (pub 1964)

BROWN -- two entries
#82 Andrew BROWN. Hopewell Township, NJ. 1832-1864. Receipts, etc.,
and vendue lists and accounts of his estate (the conditions of the sale set
down by Elizabeth BROWN). 18 items. Gift of John Morrell through Miss Edna
M. Netter (630).

#83 Thomas BROWN. Boston MA; Newark NJ; Portsmouth NJ. 1795-1839.
Bills, notes, receipts, and letters received, 1795-1814; also bill of Rendal
FERNALD, 1816-1817; miscellaneous bills, etc., with no apparent relationship
to Thomas BROWN, 1795-1839. 35 items (633).

SAN(D)FORD -- no entries in index for this name

Regards
Joan
