GSNJ is pleased (late, but pleased) to announce the following:

Our 87th Annual Meeting and Fall Lectures
Saturday, November 1, 2008

Starting: 10:30 a.m.
Location: Pane Room, Alexander Library, Rutgers University
Address: 169 College Ave, New Brunswick NJ

Our short business meeting, including elections of trustees, will begin at
10:30 and will be followed immediately by two lectures sure to be of use to
folks with NJ ancestry. We had lots of discussion on this list in recent
months about some of the hidden gems in the manuscript collections. Now is
your chance to learn from the experts! Please join us. This event is free
and open to the public. All are welcome to attend - feel free to bring a
friend!

The topic will be
Genealogical Resources in Special Collections & University Archives at
Rutgers University:

GSNJ Materials
by: Janet T. Riemer, Manuscript Committee Chairwoman and Past President,
GSNJ

and

Genealogical Gems in the Manuscript Collection
by: Ronald Becker, Head of Special Collections & University Archives

Special Collections will be open from 1pm to 5pm for your research endeavors
after the meeting.

The Food Court in the nearby Student Center and other local restaurants will
be available for lunch after the meeting. Street parking is free in New
Brunswick on Saturdays.
