Well I went today to the 'Bush Family Reunion" (my husbands family) in
Westfield, MA We are back home now till tomorrow when they have a picnic.
This day ended with a funeral for a Bush who died last winter in Minnasota.
Interesting to me as my hobby is genealogy. Saw likenesses to my own
children and mother in law. Body sttuctures a lot alike...tall Bush
women.... my oldest daughter is tall and I could never figure out why ...saw
young women who looked like my own daughter. Actually was kind of nice. The
deceased never lost contact with her Westfield cousins (actually my husband
just discovered the connection in the last four weeks to this family as he is
7th generation in MA) and it was a special time to give tribute to someone
who never forgot their roots. Carol's children brought her home to rest with
her ancestors. Pine Hill Cemetery is full of Bushes. You dont see much of
this any more... nice day.

SO LEE, that is where I was hanging out in the cemetery...lots of laughs...
Cooler day in New England. Being native NJ ite I have to admit it is lovely
here. However, an interesting note..typical Yankees...cousins so reserved who
have known each other. for yrs...takes at least 20 minutes to get a hug and a
hello... interesting as those of us from NJ just move up to the plate, plant
the kiss and smile and then get on with the other events of the day... NJ
folks, REAL NJ folks, warm right up!
Gosh we are a friendly lot.... Love ya all.... Jackie, Once a Jersybel
