1689 May 4. Lawrence, Marcus, of Putshack, Gloucester Co.;
nuncupative will of, attested by Casper Fisk and Rice Jone, who heard him
say that he had sent for John Taylor to write the will, but feeling that he
should speedily die, he asked his wife whether she would stay with his
children; she desiring to consult with her own son, he appointed Samuel
Spicer, Henry Wood and John Taylor to manage his whole estate and divide it
between his wife and two sons. Sworn to June 1, 1689.
1689 May 7. Inventory of the estate (farm of 200 acres 80, personal
property 79.7.6, incl. 12 in silver money, which the widow refused to give
up).
1689 June 1. Administration granted to Samuel Spicer, Henry Wood and
John Taylor.

1689 Dec. 29. Lawrence, Richard, of Gloucester Co.; will of. Wife
Amie and son George (under 18) heirs and executors of lands, goods and
chattels with John Reddings of Glocester and neighbour Roger Pedrick on

Flying Point (except one acre where the Baptist meeting house stands where
the Baptist members that live on the south side of Cohansey Creek shall
think fit to take it), together with 100 acres between Edmund Shaws and
Samuel Chards, joining Barns line to be hers and her heirs forever by her
present husband Daniel Elmore, if any shall survive; for want of such heirs
after the decease of said Daniel Elmore and Abigail his wife, then to any
other lawful heirs of her body, who shall pay 10 to each of my three
