1694 Oct. 8. Basnett, Richard, of Burlington; will of. Wife Eliz-
[page 29] abeth; children William, Mary, wife of Edward Hunloke (and her
dau. Sarah), Elizabeth, Hannah; son-in-law Thomas fframpton,
daughters-in-law Elizabeth and Sarah fframpton, his sisters. Temporal
estate. Wife executrix; James Marshall, Francis Davenport and James Hill,
executors in trust. Witnesses Benj. Wheate, Bernard Devonish, Phil.
Richards. Proved Oct. 13, 1694.
1694 Oct. 27. Affidavit of James Marshall, Phil. Richards and James
Hill, that they believe testator meant to give his wife full power to sell
any part of the estate as executrix.
1694 Oct. 13. Bond of the widow Elizabeth Basnett, as executrix of
the estate. John Day, yeoman, and Benjamin Wheate, cordwainer, fellow
bondsmen.
1694 Oct. 30. Inventory of the estate (1062.10.8, incl. 6 negro
slaves, 93 1/4 oz. of silver plate and land), made by George Hutcheson,
Thomas Gardner and Benj. Wheate.
1694 Oct. 13. Will proved and letters testamentary granted to his
widow and executrix, Elizabeth Bassnett. Burlington Records, p. 22.
