1725-6 -------- 23. Barrat, Prudence, of Salem Town. Inventory
[page 27] of the personal estate of, 52.12.1, incl. 1 feather bed, bolster
and Musketernett 4.15, made by Ro: Johnson and Jno Goodwin.
1726 April 26. Bond of James Vance, of Salem, carpenter, as
administrator of the estate; Jaems Wiggins of the same place, cordwainer,
fellow bondsman. Salem Wills.
1717 Aug. 12. Barrett, James, senior, of Manington Presinck, Salem
Co., carpinture; will of. Wife Elisabeth. Children James, Thomas,
Caleb, William, Elizabeth, the last two under age. Home farm 500 acres in
said Precinct; personal property. Executors the wife and son Thomas.
Witnesses Richard Woodnutt, F. Gandonet, Tho. Hill. Proved November 15,
1717.

BARRETT, page 37:
1733, April 9. Barratt, Thomas, of Mannington Townshp, Salem Co.,
yeoman; will of. Wife, Elizabeth, sole executrix and to have all of the
moveable estate for the bringing up of my children and the use of the
plantation where I live until my son Thomas Barrett will be 21. Then he to
pay his sisters, Rachel and Elizabeth (at 18 or marriage) 20 each. In case
of death of son Thomas in non-age, plantation to descend to my daughter
Quinn Barratt. Said Quinn Barratt at 18 or marriage to have 200 acres on
Salem Creek, bounded on Andrew Petersons plantation. Have given power of
attorney to John Powell to sell share of 700 acres near Lewis Town.
Witnesses Richard Graves, William Barratt, Dan. Mestayer. Proved 10 May,
1733.
