1724-5 Feb. 2. Bedford, Gunning (Gunnion, Gunian), of Pens Neck,
Salem Co., yeoman. Bond of Mary, widow of, administratrix of the estate of
her late husband, who left no will. Thomas Miles and Joseph Gregory fellow
bondsmen. Lib. 2, p. 274.
1724-5 Feb. 8. Inventory of the personal estate, 19.13., incl. a
silver tumbler, 2.10; made by Joseph Gregory, Wm. Grifies and Thos. Miles.
1725 Mar. to June. Receipts given to Mary Bedford for payments due by
the estate of George Ross, of New Castle, for trouble in crossing the river
and preaching his Funeral sermon, 3; to Jno. Finney for medicines; to
Oliver Westland, to John Restrack, to Richard Grafton, Pat. Reilly and
Samuel Chanders, all for funeral charges.
1726-7 Jan. 7. Account of the estate of, 14.13, by the
administratrix, Mary Bedford, of said Co., gentlewoman, who has paid out
30.10.3, in discharging debts due to Dr. Rylee, Dr. Tinny (for medicines
and visits), Dr. Ross (for preaching the funeral sermon, 3), Joseph
Gregory, Samuel Chandler, John Redstrack, Richd Grafton, Simon Eaton, Mr.
Gravenrodd and Mr. Carpenter. Salem Wills.
