1711-12 Feb. 25. Biddle, Penelope, Joseph, Lydia and John,
grandchildren of William Biddle, decd, minors under 14 years of age.
Guardianship of, granted to Samuel Bunting, of Chesterfield, and John Wills,
of Northampton, at the request of William Biddle and wife Lydia.

1711 June 23. Biddle, William, of Mount Hope, Burlington Co.; will
of. Son William, who has wife Lydia and children William, Elizabeth,
Sarah, Penelope and Lydia, all under age; cousin Thomas Biddle and children
Thomas, Sarah and Rachel, all under 21; gransons Joseph and John Biddle,
both under age; legacies to William, son of Clement Plumstead, of
Philadelphia; cousin Dorothy Sherwin and William Saterthwait. Home farm,
called Mount Hope, 500 acres, Biddles island in Delaware R. opposite home
farm, 1500 a., to be taken up in West Jersey; personal estate. Executors
son William, Samuel Bunting, of Chesterfield, and John Wills, of
Northampton. Witnesses Isaac Marriott, Thomas Raper, Cullum Macquire.

1711 Dec. 26. Inventory of the personal estate, 864.12.1 , incl.
bonds, bills and mortgages, 500.12.5 ; an old negro man, an Indian woman
and two children, 100; plate and silk, 15; made by Wm. Wood, Thomas Raper
and Joshua Humpris.
